Busy Life

So we have been crazy busy lately. I have been trying to take pictures of it all so i can blog about it, of course. I just need the time to sit and actually do it. I have had some company come and stay with us, which was so nice. Ryan was glad to give up his room so he could have friends. Once again, everyone is welcome to come and stay with us anytime you would like. We are about 20 min from the beach so its a little drive but it beats 6 hours :) So my neighbor Dena came to stay with her two girls and my mom is here now actually. She took Ryan with her down to my brother Troy's house for a couple days. One kid is so easy. Its been nice to have some one on one time with my little girl, who will be ONE tomorrow. OMG

We are all doing well. Everyone is healthy( knock on wood...) Brent is working hard every day all day and we hope by the end of summer it pays off like we want it too. We have a great ward here. The people are just awesome and they are always having great activities which has been nice for me and the kids. We are trying to stay busy. Having nice weather all the time makes taking walks and going to the park really enjoyable. I do miss the warm weather for the pool. Its still a bit chilly at the beach and the pool. I am planning a trip to AZ next week. I cant wait. This is Ryan with his cousins hunter and Paige. They get along great. We went shopping at the outlet mall in Lake Elsinore. It was a blast. I got some great deals on clothes for the ever growing kids.
A couple days later i made play doe with the kids. Lacy tried putting some in her mouth and i firmly told her no. This is what she did. EVERYTHING is the end of the world.

Here we are at the San Diego zoo. I got a great deal on season passes at Costco. I love that they have 'reindeer' as Ryan calls them. Lacy didn't know what to think. I tried to make her pet them and she was trying even harder to get a way. I think over all she was happy. She kept saying dog which i guess to her means animal on four legs with fur.

Beach Adventure

So this was a beach adventure...

I think i will never decide to go to the beach again. i have the worst luck. Every time i go it is cold or rainy or in this case hailing. Oh yes Hailing, on the beach. It made for an interesting day and just because i am going to look back and read this i am going to run through the day. I pick up my friend Chandee and we go to old navy but, the 50 % sale ended already. We leave there, her baby cries ,okay screamed the whole way to the beach, which i really didn't mind i mostly felt bad for her oh and Ryan kept telling the baby to stop cause it was hurting his ears. Then we go to Wendy's to get some food and i realize i dont have my wallet. I called Old Navy and they had it. So then Ryan starts yelling he wants a hot dog so i end up spending 5 bucks for a hot dog on the beach. We get to the sand and its so deep that we have to help each other carry these totally heavy strollers on to the beach. After getting settled in we start feeling rain drops and we both look at each other like oh no this cant happen...

Well it did, the rain started and it wasn't a sprinkle it was a down poor. So we take the kids and run for shelter leaving our food to get wet. I look over a min later and see a million seagulls eating our food. I ran over with lacy in my arms back into the pouring Rain / Hail and scare them away. well those little buggers are fast and they ate all our food. In a matter of a minute. So we sit down on our wet towels and try to enjoy ourselves when out of the blue the rain hail starts up again full blast but this time i wasn't about to leave and let the seagulls eat what was left of my kids food. So i stayed behind. Lacy was crying and Ryan was not very happy with the hail hitting us. Some nice lady came over and offered to watch our stuff so i could take the kids to safety. So after that ended the sun came out and it was super nice. We only stayed for another 30 min cause we were just hungry and tired after the long journey to the beach. i am glad we went. Even though it didn't turn out perfect it was a fun adventure. I love living here. I am grateful for the opportunity to try new things and meet new people. Ryan and his hole

So i haven't figured out how to separate my two kids. This post was meant to be about Ryan and his pet snail but then Lacy was there too and she looked so cute( and demanding) with her food that i had to take a picture of her too and then of course i have to blog about it cause it was so cute. So anyways, we were on our way to church on Sunday and Ryan past a snail on the way to the car and he wanted to play with it. I told him that when we got home we could go snail hunting which we did but there were no snails. So the next day at the park Ryan's friend Avery found him a snail. He HAD to bring in home and make it his pet. I told him we would need to put it back outside eventually but he refused. I think it died today or its just sleeping in its shell all day long. I guess i will put it out tomorrow and see what happens. see how cute she is

A Nice Day at the Park

So we went to the park today. It was great fun. Today is the first day in like a week that it has been nice out. I guess the saying here is may gray, June gloom. May wasn't too bad until the last week so i guess we will see how June goes. We made friends with a family in our ward. They are so great and already invited us for dinner. There two youngest are pretty similar in age with Ryan and Lacy. Here is Ryan with Avery. They are so cute playing together. Avery caught Ryan this snail and Ryan just thought it was the greatest thing. We now have a pet snail. Its just so great to have friends close. They actually live in our same apts. I love it.

Back to Cali

So The trip to az was great. Almost too good. I didnt want to leave, but i did miss Brent alot and i know he missed us. My sister was so nice to let us all stay at her house. Its weird to come back and not have my own house to stay at. My mom is living with my sister Tiffanie while her husband is in korea so with Tiffanie, my mom, and her two kids still at home and then me and my two kids( and the dog) that makes 7 people staying there. It was crowded and i couldnt seem to keep it clean but it was so much fun. I spent alot of time with my two sisters Tiffanie and Hannah. We had a girls night and went for ice cream and then to wally world. I got to spend time with almost all my friends. If i didnt get you this time i will be out again in a month or so. the weather was perfect the week i was there. Thank you.. I wasnt looking forward to the 100's. I am pretty spoiled here in San Diego. The weather really is perfect almost all the time. These are out of order...

So when we got back from az we went with some of our friends to Belmont park. It is the most beautiful beach and in it is a small amusement park. They had a huge roller coaster it was 6 bucks to go on but sooo fun. I was sad that Ryan wasnt tall enough to go on although it was probably good cause it was pretty intense. Here are me and the kids on the carousal. Lacy looks like an alien. The lighting is really bad and thats how it turned out. I think i need to learn how to use photo shop. The kids loved it.

Back in Az

I am here in Arizona and loving it. Well not the weather, but everything else. I have been at the pool everyday since i have been here and it has been great. I remembered that you can stand the AZ heat if you are wet and next to a pool. I am excited to hang out with all my friends and i am already having a blast with my family. Ryan is loving being back. He asked me why we cant just live here. Its kinda sad. I know he misses it and there's nothing i can really do. Hopefully soon we will find him a bunch of friends in San Diego. So i didn't bring the cord for my computer so there wont be any pix until i get back. Too bad:)

Happy Mothers Day

Mothers Day is always funny for me. I don't really know what to expect. You always here how we should be pampered..breakfast in bed, sleep in, don't take care of the kids, no chores, no cooking. Well does that happen for anyone else?? This year actually was pretty nice. I did enjoy some of those things. Its funny i told Brent that i didn't want him to buy me anything this year. I don't really need anything and its an extra way to save money, but you should have seen the look on his face he looked relieved and kinda like " well that was easy, now i don't have to do any thing." That is until i said "well honey, you can still do other things for me. Like ( all the above mentioned things.) And he goes "oh...okay!" So i wake up in the morning to Lacy screaming on the kitchen floor and Ryan throwing up everywhere. It was a pretty funny site. Brent did let me sleep in, he made breakfast, he let me go to church alone( you know since Ryan was sick), and i got a nap in the afternoon. It was a good day. Later on we went to the really cool bridge. It has a lake under it but its funny cause its filled with dead trees. It was a beautiful day here to go for a walk as well. Enjoy the Pix. Oh yes here the dinner that i made. If Brent made dinner i think it would have been forzen burritos. I chose roast, potatoes and broccoli. Yummy

Oh and i painted mine and Lacy's toe nails today. Lacy didnt like it so much. It took like 30 min to do hers cause she wouldnt sit still and she kept grabbing the polish off her toes. But they sure are cute

Beach Day with Dad

So last Friday we met Brent down at the beach for lunch. ( He works all day and since he works far away right now we don't see him all day. Its a special treat to see him if only for a couple hours one day.) I didn't take many pictures of the actual beach and maybe because i was so cold. Its hit and miss coming to the beach. I left our house and it was 75 and i get to the beach and its in the low 60s.But the day was great. Afterwards we hit up DQ. Oh i love a good blizzard. It was fun taking pictures of us all eating. We look pretty silly:)

Its hard to get back on track!!!

So i have had my computer up and running for four our five days now and i am just now getting on. I knew that once i got on here that it would take me a while to check my 300 new emails and then i would need to post all that has been going on. On top of all that i felt guilty getting on here cause there is so much to do around the house. So after getting not quite enough done and figuring that i will probably never be done i decided i better just get on the computer and just spend a couple hours catching up. So here i am...

Moving twice in two weeks was not the funnest thing ever, BUT i am so glad i did. My mom and my little sister Hannah came to help me. I seriously don't know what i would have done if they didn't come. My mom is a saint and i love her so much. I hope that i can be as good of a mother as she is. She helped with the kids and unpacked my whole kitchen. I would much rather her do it cause she is much more of an organized person than i am.

We moved Thursday and Friday. Friday we all went to the beach, it was a good break. My mom left sat. to spend time with my brother and his family that live here. Sat night we went to a bon fire with friends from Brent's work. Sunday we went to my nieces birthday party. I didn't get any pix of her cause they wouldn't stop running around. She turned 5. And now Ryan thinks he needs to be 5. This is all he talks about now. This is my uncle jimmy. I love him to death. He has been so close with my family. I remember him being around at all the family functions and like every Christmas. He probably held me just like that when i was a baby.
