A Great Spiritual Experiance

So Brent and i were on our way out the door this morning to go on a much needed temple trip. Lacy was in the car and Ryan came back in to get his monkey. We searched for over ten minutes for it and just couldn't find it. I mean i was looking in drawers and cupboards. I was desperate, and then the thought came to me to have Ryan say a prayer to help find it. So i went and got him and told him we were going to pray to heavenly father to help us find monkey. We knelt down by the couch and i helped him to say a prayer. When we were finished we talked a little bit about where he had last seen his monkey and he said his room. So before getting up to go i turned around on my knees and there it was, behind the rocking chair underneath some clothes. I know that i would have eventually found it, but if i hadn't been on my knees with Ryan we wouldn't have seen it before we left for the day. Ryan and i talked about how heavenly father can help, even with small things, they key is that you have to ask.
The other great thing that happened was when we were dropping the kids off at my sisters, Ryan picked a flower and brought it to me and asked me to give it to Jesus at the Temple. How cute huh..

This past weekend we went on a company snow trip. It was a blast. It was even better cause it was free. The cabin we stayed in was so nice. I want to go again. The weather was great. during the day you hardly needed a jacket. Ryan had been to the snow before but i am pretty sure he forgot what it was.Lacy was so funny when we went sledding, Brent would take her down this really big hill and she would just have this expression on her face like nothing even happened. The only thing i think she liked about the snow was eating it:)
Ryan on the other hand was a natural, he loved everything about it. He climbed right up the biggest part of the mountain and was not even the least bit scared to go down it. I was more afraid than he was.

Luckily there was another family that came that had a little boy Ryan's age and they just played and played together. We all were happy about that.

Here is our cute little cabin. I miss it.

So Valentine's Day was a good day:)Lacy Lou loved it too!
( I just cant get a great pix of her, its either blurry or she is making a retarded face at the flash, so sorry for the blurriness)
Ryan got a shark and a whale and of course some candy, he couldn't have been happier

I think i got the best present of all...a message:)

Here is such a cute family pix to capture the moment, minus me of course. geez don't Brent and Ryan look identical. They are both so handsome.

And last but not least, i made these fabulous heart shaped pancakes. I felt like such a great mom. Sometimes you just need to do something corny to make yourself feel good:)

Zoo fun

We went for play group and it ended up just being me and the kids which actually turned out great. It was nice to have time with just them. I got to focus on Ryan and what he wanted to do. I love Lacy in this pix. This is the true face of a curious baby. She is sitting with grass in her hand just trying to figure it all out. I just love her:)
I love this one too. Of course i couldn't get both of them to look with there eyes OPEN.

Oh he is just too cute

...and so is she

The Park

This is at 'Kati's park' as Ryan says. He always asks to come here so i called up Shaun (who recently had a baby) and we went down to the park with all four kids. Its funny the more kids you and your friends have the bigger the group becomes. I know this is totally an obvious thing but not that long ago we could go out and there would only be two kids now we go out and there are four. Boom just like that. Are we going to even be able to hang out in five years? Just a silly thought...I actually caught Lacy smiling( usually my camera is not fast enough to catch the precious moment, even if it is blurry.)

Just TOO cute

Ryan always wants to ride in these car carts at Fry's and yesterday i thought Lacy was "maybe' big enough to ride in it with him. She was so excited to be in there with him. She loved holding onto the steering wheel. They both looked so cute i could help but take a picture. I felt like a true blogger at that moment, whipping my camera out in the middle of the produce isle:)

PlaydateS

So this is at play group on Friday. We went to the park for bubble and ball day. Of course i forgot to take pictures of all the kids chasing after the bubbles, but they had a lot of fun. So the pictures below are of Ryder and Lacy's first time on a swing. They get to have a lot of their 'firsts' at the same time since they were born only a week apart. They both loved the swing. Aren't they cute!

On Wednesday we had a little reunion with my hair school buddies. Of course the only friends that i still talk to are both named Kristin and we all had babies within a week of each other. It was really fun to get all the kids together and see how they compare in size and ability. Lacy is taking her grand old time catching up to the boys who can already crawl. Lacy sees no need for such things, all she has to do is cry and look at me with those big blue eyes and i pick her up.

The only matching outfit they have, and they wear it on the same day( not on purpose.)
How CUTE

Making Baby Food and Cousins Visit

OK so this might not be amazing to anyone else, but i am so excited that i made baby food all by myself. I even saved old baby food containers so i had something to put it in. So this one sweet potato made sooo much food. I wont have to ever make it again and it was so easy. It took hardly any time. So snaps for ME.

Looks yummy huh!

I think they are shooting birds

Isn't this a lovey habit:) what a boy!

What cute cousins

Diane and Luis stopped by for a visit. I hadn't seen them in almost two years so it was nice surprise. Our kids are about the same age. Ryan and Luis Pablo played so good together the whole time. I got some cute pictures of them. Lacy and their little boy are about a month apart. I thought Lacy was big until i saw him, she looked so little next to him. Hopefully they come again soon.

IT HAS BEEN WAY TO LONG!!!

Ok, so i am not so good at getting on here and posting stuff, the thing is I really want to be. I feel like i am really busy so i don't have any time but i guess i just have to make time. So real quick i will summarize why i have been so busy. Ok, so first of all i have two little kids. I cant see into the future when i have more kids cause two already consumes so much of my time. Anyway, So Christmas came and went. It was really fun this year having the two kids. Ryan, now three, was much more fun this year. He was so excited. He loved opening presents and didn't mind that he didn't have that many to open. We did the three present thing this year. For those of you who don't know what that is... You give only three presents Gold( which is something they want) Frankincense( which is something they need) and Mir ( which is a family gift like a game that everyone can play but they get to open). It really is a great way to do Christmas. As we open presents we talk about the gifts that Jesus got. Lacy loved just as much. She was fascinated by the wrapping paper and spent most of the morning sucking on it. I'm not too sure if that is healthy but she is still alive...
So right after Christmas was my sisters bridal shower that i was in charge of. Wow what a lot of work. I totally owe her since she has thrown every shower that i have ever had. Then a week after that was her wedding. It turned out awesome. That too was a lot of work. And since then has been recuperating time. I am still so tired, all the time. I swear if i didn't have an IUD i would guess i was pregnant all over again. I could just sleep all day.
So now that that is all over i will be posting again. I am on my lap top which has no pix on it, so soon they will follow.
Thanks to Kristin for inspiring me to get of my lazy bum and blog already:)

Blonde Moment

So something funny happened today... I went to my friends house to do her hair and i had her put just a couple blonde foils in my hair. So the kids were being bad and it was getting late so i decided to just go home and rinse my hair at my house. So i drove home and of course had to make dinner and get the kids ready for bed and an hour and a half later i realize the foils were still in my hair. Now for any of you who know about hair, bleach should not sit on your hair that long. Thank goodness by some miracle my hair didn't fall out and it's not really even damaged. But it was just a really good blonde moment i wanted to share.

Brent's Birthday

So i have an old husband now. On the 14Th he turned 28. That is almost 30. These are pictures that Ryan decorated and we hung around the house before he got up. Ryan loved doing it and once Brent noticed he like it too. For his birthday i went to the Mexican food store and bought this meat called carniasata. We barbecued it that night and had tacos. I must say they were to die for. Brent was VERY happy. This was Brent's birthday present that he got about a week early because when i brought it home from the store Brent wasn't home yet so i had it sitting in the corner of our room and then i got busy and forgot about it. Later after Brent had been home for a while i hear Ryan bring Brent into our room and say look daddy its for your birthday. So He got it early. He has had a lot of fun acting like he was 16 again riding his rip stick. I tried one time with Brent holding on to me and still almost fell down. Its not for me.

A day at the ZOO

Here we are at the zoo. They opened this new path down to see the elephants. If you can see behind us the elephant is right there. It was really neat. Ryan and his buddy Gabe.

I thought this was so cute. Holding hands!

So the tiger was awake and walking around, which is rare. He climbed to the top of the tree after i took this picture.

We are at stingray bay. If you have never been you should go. It is amazing. There are also little sharks in there. Ryan didnt want to pet the sharks though.

Pumpkin carving

So my pictures are out of order so sorry. So these are way over due. Here we are after the big event of carving pumpkin's. It was so much fun. I love that Ryan is getting older, everything is getting much funner.

I just love this picture!

So if you can tell the extra long knife is in the pumpkin with Ryan's hand. Yes i am a good mother.

Ryan loved the gooey stuff.

And here is the first picture. We are getting ready to carve out pumpkins.

Some Funny Things...

So the first funny thing happened on Tuesday night. Brent was getting into the airport at 11:30 pm (yeah like two hours after i would be in bed). So i had my sis come spend the night so i could leave to get him. I picked up Kaylea to have some girl time. Well since there is nothing to do on a weekday at 9:30 at night we decided to go to the airport and get some cookies at paradise and watch people. I was a lot of fun. So Brent texts me and says he just landed, so Kaylea and i went to the spot where he would be coming out from and hid behind this big pole. SO like 25 min later he still hadn't come around the corner. So it turns out that my phone had no service. So i find service and get a hold of him and guess what, we were at the wrong Terminal. So my cute surprise turned into a disaster in the middle of the night. I thought i was being all cute to surprise him and instead he ended up waiting outside in the cold for 30 min.

The other funny thing was well not so funny at the time. So i was sitting in my recliner with both the kids when i hear this loud bang. I mean really loud. So as i'm nursing the baby, of course, i fly out of the chair and look out the sliding glass door. Nothing is there. So i look out the front window and i see two boys running towards my house. I ran out and asked if they had thrown something at my house and they start freaking out. I guess a hawk had picked up a pigeon off my house and flown up in the air and then it fell back on my house. They said feathers went everywhere. So i go look in my backyard and there it is still alive.. It looked hurt and scared. So i called my neighbor and she paid the boys to get it and "take care of it". I had never been so scared before. How often does that happen?

Schnep Farms

We went to schnep farms last week for our playgroup. The husbands were invited to this one, which was a great idea. We had so much fun. It was so hot that day, we didn't last as long as i would have liked. But we still had a blast. Our favorite was the roller coaster. Ryan was just big enought to go on. It makes me want to go back to Disneyland.
